Catch up post!
June 17th, 2010Well, we’ve been super busy with service and sales recently! Our recent bike order is leaving the store one and 2 at a time! Helmets are going fast as usual and bike racks are getting installed every day! Our weekly Thursday afternoon road ride is going great with 15-20 people coming out each week to get their pedal on!! Having 2 groups is working out nicely to accommodate varying rider abilities!
We’ve helped with technical support for the Race Day Events Ride the Plains ride, Tour de Blount, the Knoxville Tour de Cure and on Saturday June 3 the Rocky Top 100 too! Pictures will be added to the photo sections as soon as we have a minute! Come on by and hang out at our info. bar while we tune up your bike or tell us about a recent cycling adventure you went on!
Knoxville Tour de Cure Saturday June 5th!
June 4th, 2010We will be helping with technical support for this event! Flat tire? No problem! Break your chain? No problem! Break a cable? No Problem! It’s the least we can do for all the participants that raised money for this great cause!! http://www.knoxvilletourdecure.com/
Bike Preparation Tips:
Top off your tires air pressure to the max psi recomendation on the side of the tire.
Inspect the brakes to make sure they are not rubbing.
Check the quick releases that hold the wheels onto the frame and fork.
Test ride your bike to make sure the gears and brakes are working properly.
Wear a helmet!!
Ride recomendations:
Ride at your own pace and don’t try to keep up with faster riders unless experienced.
Always assume that cars don’t see you.

See you there!!
